The Story Behind Loren Murray and Allied Admin Partners
In between senior leadership roles in Allied Health, I had the opportunity to work in a women’s and children’s shelter, a safe place for families escaping domestic violence. I saw fear in the eyes of women and children as they arrived with nothing, and I watched them slowly rebuild their lives with the support of psychologists, social workers, Allied Health professionals and NDIS providers.

It was a turning point for me. I saw what genuine care looks like, and I knew I wanted to support those who dedicate their lives to helping others. Not through empty words, but through action.

With over 25 years of experience across business management and client accounts, I’ve seen firsthand how often the people doing real work are left unsupported. I’ve worked for organisations that claimed to put clients first but were ultimately driven by profit. That kind of environment made it clear to me the type of person I wanted to be and the kind of business I wanted to create.

Through my experience working closely with Allied Health and NDIS providers, I saw a clear and growing problem. Practitioners were spending far too much of their time on administrative tasks, managing inboxes, following up debtors, entering client data, writing service agreements, navigating compliance, and keeping up with reporting. These were essential tasks, but they were pulling providers away from where they were most needed.

The time meant to be spent preparing for client sessions, building therapy resources, or reviewing support plans was being absorbed by systems, policies and paperwork. For many, it led to burnout, inefficiency and a growing feeling of being disconnected from their core purpose, to help people.
